Raqqa, (ST) – Within the framework of its criminal policies and restrictions on the people and their displacement from their homes, the “SDF militia” supported by the US occupation seized a number of buildings in Police Housing Complex in Al-Raqqa city.

Local sources reported to SANA that the so-called “North Democratic Brigade” affiliated with the “SDF militia” surrounded several buildings in the “Police Housing Complexin the city of Raqqa, forcibly evicting their residents, and attacked the residents there for trying to cling to their homes.

The sources pointed out that the “SDF militia”, through its practices, is trying to impose a fait accompli and bring about demographic change in the region on the one hand, and forcing the people, especially the youth, to join their ranks in the context of the plans prepared by the American occupier on the other hand.

During the past months, the militia forced the people to evacuate their homes in the Ghwiran and Salhiya neighborhoods. It assaulted the homeowners and kidnapped a number of them. It also seized a group of private homes in the Nazareth and Al-Ma’ishiyya neighborhoods and a number of houses in Sharia in the western Al-Nashwa neighborhood. The SDF militia is working to implement the instructions of the American occupation and forcing the people to work with them within the framework of the plans prepared by the American occupier for the region.
