The SDF militia kidnaps a number of civilians in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour

Deir Ezzour (ST): Armed groups of the SDF backed by the American occupation forces kidnapped a number of civilians during their raid on the towns of Al-Sabbah, Jadid Bakara and Jadid Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour.

Civil sources told a news reporter that armed groups of the (SDF) militia cordoned off the entrances and exits of the towns of Al-Sabha, Jadid Bakara and Jadid Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour, and carried out a campaign of raids and searches of a number of homes of citizens, after which they kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to an unknown destination.

The sources pointed out that the raid operations were accompanied by heavy and indiscriminate shooting from militia gunmen to intimidate and disperse a number of residents who had gathered and tried to confront the gunmen.

 Yesterday, armed groups affiliated with the SDF besieged the village of Marzouqa and kidnapped the 65-year-old imam and preacher of the village’s mosque, a young man from the village of al-Suwaydiyah, seven young men from the villages of Suleiman Sari, al-Qasimiyah, Qurtuba, and two young men from the village of al-Qahtaniyah, and took them to its headquarters under various pretexts.
