The SDF militia kidnaps 44 residents in Deir Ezzour countryside

Deir Ezzour (ST): The US-backed SDF militia continued to carry out raids in a number of villages in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour and kidnapped dozens of the people of those villages, especially young men, to force them to join it and fight in its ranks.

Local sources in Deir Ezzour said that groups of SDF militants raided dozens of homes in the towns of Al-Shuhail and Al-Zir, and arrested 44 residents from the two towns and took them to unknown destinations.

The sources pointed out that the militia raided the town of Al-Shuhail several times during the past three days as part of what it called a security campaign with the support of helicopters of the American occupation forces.

The SDF militia has recently stepped up its raids in the areas it occupies on the Syrian Jazira and kidnapped dozens of people and hundreds of young men in the countryside of Deir Ezzour, Raqqa and Hasakeh, and took them to camps belonging to it in preparation for fighting in its ranks.
