The Russian Republic of Chechnya provides assistance to shelters for those affected by the earthquake in Hama
The governorate of Hama today distributed relief assistance provided by the Russian Republic of Chechnya to shelters for those affected by the earthquake in various regions of the governorate.
In a statement to SANA, Osman Osmayov, Mufti’s assistant of the Republic of Chechnya and the representative of the Martyr Ahmed Haji Kadyrov Fund, considered that aid is a humanitarian duty in favor of those affected by the earthquake in the city of Hama and its countryside, to alleviate their suffering and create a sense that there are friends on their side, and they are not alone in this disaster.
Director of Operation Room for Emergency Response to Earthquakes in Hama Governorate, Mohammed Abu Jadaan said in a similar statement that Russian aid includes a variety of relief items such as blankets, wool sheets, pillows and clothes.
Abu Jadaan indicated that Chechen assistance had been distributed to nine shelters for those affected in the city of Hama, including the Deaf and Dumb Institute, the Youth Activities Centre and the Yahya Farji School, and in the countryside in the areas of Suqaylabiyah and Salhab, which included Aziziya, Khandaq, Al- Abr, Ain Al-Krum and Horat Amorin.
