The Russian Embassy in Washington: The irresponsible US rhetoric encourages Kiev to carry out criminal plans

Washington (ST): The Russian Embassy in Washington confirmed that the irresponsible discourse of the United States regarding the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant encourages the Ukrainian army to carry out catastrophic criminal plans.

RIA Novosti news agency quoted the embassy as saying in a statement that “silence and ignoring the facts on the ground of the continued Ukrainian bombing of the nuclear plant is unacceptable and only encourages Kiev’s impunity. Also, in light of Washington’s irresponsible rhetoric of praise, the Kiev regime continues to bomb the plant in a regular manner and implement systematic  disastrous criminal plans that Europe will have to deal with for many decades.”

In response to allegations made by the US State Department claiming that Russia ignores nuclear safety issues and uses violence against nuclear plant employees, the embassy said, “Washington listens and relies on lies as part of its wild attempts to discredit our country.”
