The Russian Duma: The policy of the West and the United States is immoral and reckless 

The Russian State Duma affirmed that the West’s collective policy led by the United States is immoral and reckless and is currently hindering the end of the conflict in the Middle East and fueling tension therein.

In an appeal on Thursday addressing the world’s parliaments and the United Nations regarding the situation in occupied Palestine, the Duma criticized the United States for allocating billions of dollars in financial and military supplies to “Israel” and for President Joe Biden’s administration sending American aircraft carriers to the waters of the Middle East.

The Duma asked the United Nations and world parliaments to take all possible measures immediately to stop the bloodshed and escalation of tension in the region and prevent an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe there.

The Duma pointed out that the scale of the tragedy was evident in the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in the Al-Mamadani “Baptist” Hospital in Gaza.

The Duma said: “The unjustified brutality and disproportionate use of force have killed many thousands, and we strongly condemn any violation of international humanitarian law, the use of internationally banned munitions, the leveling of residential buildings and the targeting of essential civilian facilities, especially medical facilities, energy and water facilities, and we also condemn forced displacement of civilians.”
