The Russian Defense announces the outcome of the special military operation to protect Donbas on its seventh day

Moscow (ST): A spokesman for the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Igor Konashenkov, announced today that the Russian military units have taken full control of the territorial center of the Ukrainian city of Kherson.

Konashenkov said during a media briefing: “Civil infrastructure, life support facilities for the population and civil transport in the city are working well and do not suffer from a shortage of food and basic goods. Negotiations are underway between the Russian leadership and the administration of the city and the region to address issues of maintaining the functioning of social infrastructure facilities and ensuring law and order and safety of the population.”

 

Konashenkov noted that the broadcast equipment of the Kiev TV tower had been disabled by hitting it with a high-precision weapon in order to suppress media attacks against Russia without causing damage to residential buildings.
