The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Hama distributed food baskets for the people who are residing in Halfaya in the northern region.
The director of the organization’s branch, Muhammad Wati, told SANA’s correspondent that 1,200 food baskets were distributed to families that have returned to the city after a field assessment was conducted late last year for the families in it, aiming to enhance their stability and meet part of their daily needs, indicating that the baskets included various food items and commodities that the family needs like sugar, rice, oil, flour, lentils and spaghetti.
Last month, the Red Crescent branch in Hama distributed 1090 food baskets to families living in Halfaya.
