Daraa, (ST) – The Syrian Red Crescent branch in Daraa this morning sent a food aid convoy to the towns of Al-Naima and Basr Al-Harir as part of the fourth humanitarian response plan implemented by the branch in the governorate.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalmeh, head of the Crescent branch, stated in a statement to SANA correspondent that the teams of the Crescent volunteers have entered 1,800 food baskets in Al-Naima town in the eastern countryside, and the same number of flour bags has been added to the town of Busr Al-Harir.
He pointed out that the fourth response plan includes the distribution of 210 thousand food parcels and the same amount of flour bags, explaining that 70 thousand of them have been distributed so far.
It is noteworthy that the branch sent on the third and fifth days of the current month 4,500 food parcels and the same number of flour bags to the villages of Al-Qunia and Tebnah.
