The Prisoners Affairs Authority warns of the deterioration of the health of Palestinian Yasmine Shaaban in the occupation detention centers

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian Authority for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs warned of the deterioration of the health condition of detainee Yasmine Shaaban, due to the harsh conditions of detention that she and the rest of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons suffer from.

The authority said in a statement today, reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that  prisoner Shaaban is engaged in an open-ended hunger strike for the fourth day in a row, in protest at the ongoing occupation crimes against the prisoners, under difficult life and health conditions and compelling isolation.

Yasmine Shaaban, 40 years old, from the city of Jenin, was arrested on March 1, 2022, and spent five years in the occupation detention centers. She was released in 2019.She is married and a mother of four children.
