The Presence of Turkish and American occupations on the Syrian lands supports terrorism, says Egyptian security expert

Cairo, (ST) –   Major General Fouad Allam, a security expert and a member of the Supreme Council for Combating Terrorism in Egypt, affirmed that the presence of the Turkish and American troops on the Syrian territories supports terrorism. This matter requires urgent international position to confront this threat.

Allam said in a special statement to SANA’s correspondent in Cairo that some western and regional countries, led by the United States and the Turkish regime, have an interest in the continuation of this terrorism that targets Syria to achieve their agendas and ambitions. He called on the international community not to be complacent about terrorism in Syria and the region, and not to use double standards regarding this issue, because this indolence will lead to more terrorist operations and their continuation in the whole world.

Allam stressed that the American economic blockade and the use of unilateral coercive measures to tighten the screws on the people and the Syrian state aims at achieving  American interests after the failure of previous plans to target Syria.
