The Popular Front for Unity in Egypt condemns the coercive measures against Syria

Cairo, (ST) – The Secretary-General of the Arab Popular Front for Unity in Egypt, Alaa Abu Zayd, affirmed that solidarity with Syria is a duty for everyone in order to confront the plans that target the Arab countries.

In a statement to SANA’s correspondent in Cairo, Abu Zayd condemned the continuation of the Western coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, saying that these measures represent a continuation of the terrorist plans that targeted Syria and which are supported by the United States and the Recep Tayyip Erdogan regime to weaken it.

Abu Zayd stressed that Syria, with its army and people, is able to destroy all evil schemes that it is exposed to, and that victory will remain its ally, pointing to the relations between Syria and Egypt, which confirm the unity of destiny between the  two brotherly countries.
