The PLO calls for an international investigation into the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians

Occupied Jerusalem ,(ST)-The Palestine Liberation Organization called on the United Nations and its human rights bodies to initiate an international investigation into the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians and its continuous violations of human rights, international laws and norms, and to work to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

“The international community is obligated to implement the international laws and conventions that have been signed, foremost of which is the Fourth Geneva Convention, which provides that in the Palestinian issue the occupation should be held criminal and accountable for its daily crimes against the Palestinians, their land, people and sacredities.” The organization confirmed in a statement today, cited by Wafa news agency.

The statement indicated that the occupation forces and settlers, and in light of the silence of the international community and the American support for the occupation entity, are escalating their attacks on Palestinians throughout the occupied territories, indicating that field executions, torture and abuse threaten the Palestinians every moment, as happened this morning with the injury of a deaf Palestinian as a result of shooting him at the Qalandia checkpoint, North of occupied Jerusalem.
