The people of Tartous gathered in front of the governorate building to demand the lifting of economic sanctions on Syria, which negatively affect the lives of the Syrian people of all segments.

The people stressed that the new phase in Syria requires the United Nations and the Arab League to apply pressure for the lifting of economic sanctions on Syria, to enable it to rebuild and secure a decent life for the Syrian citizen.
