The Palestinian Resistance Movement: Baerbock’s statements are a cover for the occupation’s massacres

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the statements of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, in which she justified the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip. It called on the International Court of Justice to consider the statement as additional evidence of Germany’s participation in the war of genocide.

The Palestinian Resistance Movement said in a statement today: We condemn in the strongest terms what the German Foreign Minister stated yesterday that her government is not ashamed of the Israeli action of targeting civilians and hospitals, as long as this provides security for “Israel”.

Hamas added that we consider this insolent statement a blatant violation and explicit breach of the Convention on the Prevention of Genocide and a clear and explicit admission of participation in supporting the occupation in its ongoing aggression, and a cover for the Zionist occupation army to commit more crimes of genocide against our people, defenseless civilians, children, women, the elderly and the sick for more than a whole year.”

The movement pointed out that the statement reveals a Zionist mentality devoid of all human values and principles, and exposes the truth of the German position supporting and participating in the crimes of starvation, thirst and genocide in the Gaza Strip.

It indicated that the German government bears full responsibility for its serious consequences and political, legal, moral and humanitarian repercussions.

The movement added: In light of this German insistence on continuing support and full partnership in the war of genocide against our people politically, security-wise and militarily, we call on the International Court of Justice to consider the statement of this German minister as additional evidence of her government’s participation in the war of genocide, and we demand that it retract its rejection of the lawsuit filed by Nicaragua against Germany, on charges of violating the Convention on the Prevention of Genocide by supplying the Zionist occupation with weapons used in its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, and to immediately begin taking emergency measures to force Germany to stop its arms exports to it.”
