On January 2nd, The Palestinian Prisoner Club warned that the Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid in the Israeli prisons is facing a worrying deterioration in his health.
The Club indicated in a statement, reported by Wafa Agency, that the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer, has been suffering from a high temperature since yesterday, and was urgently transferred to the hospital, knowing that he had recently started taking doses of chemotherapy.
The prisoner Abu Hamid, 49 years old, from Al-Amari camp in Ramallah, has been detained since 2002 and sentenced to seven life sentences and 50 years.
He has four brothers who are also serving life sentences.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
