The Palestinian presidency renews its call for international protection for the Palestinian people

On January 6th, the Palestinian presidency renewed its call on the international community to provide protection to the Palestinian people and to stop the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against them.

The presidency stated that the Israeli occupation continues to expand settlement operations and continues to kill and arrest Palestinians daily, and provides protection for settlers to attack them in various parts of the West Bank.

The presidency warned against the continuation of these crimes that violate international legitimacy, the most recent of which was the martyrdom of the 21-year-old Bakir Hashash, by the occupation’s bullets.

Today in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, the 25-year-old Mustafa Filna was killed as a result of being run over by a settler west of Ramallah.

The presidency stressed that the Palestinian people will continue the struggle and confront the terrorism of the occupation forces and settlers.
