The Palestinian Presidency: Al Quds is the eternal capital of Palestine and all attempts by the occupation to Judaize it will fail
The Palestinian presidency confirmed that the city of Al-Quds will remain the eternal capital of the State of Palestine, and all attempts by the Israeli occupation to Judaize it and change its history and identity will fail.
Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina warned in a statement today, reported by Wafa Palestinian News Agency, that the continued incursions of settlers while the occupation forces are protecting the city and its Islamic and Christian sanctities, most notably the Al-Aqsa Mosque, will lead to serious repercussions and detonate the situation, calling on the international community to stop the occupation’s violations against the Palestinian people and implement the decisions of relevant international legitimacy.
On its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the occupation’s open war and its barbaric attacks on the Palestinians in their towns and villages, and the escalation of settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque in an attempt to establish the occupation’s control over them and Judaize them.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation authorities do not care about international reactions to their crimes, as they are merely formal statements of condemnation that do not rise to the level of the oppression, persecution, abuse and apartheid regime that the Palestinian people are subjected to, stressing that weak international positions encourage the occupation to violate UN resolutions and continue its crimes, in The forefront of which is settlement to implement colonial annexation plans and transform Palestinian cities and towns into areas isolated from each other, drowning in a huge settlement environment, which leads to striking the geographical unity of the land of the State of Palestine as defined by international legitimacy resolutions.
As for the Council of Endowments and Islamic Holy Sites in Al-Quds denounced the settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing its rejection of the occupation’s measures aimed at imposing a new reality in Al-Quds Capital.
The Council also denounced the occupation’s intensification of its aggressive practices against the Palestinians and its prevention of crowds of Palestinian worshipers from reaching the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by transforming Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque into military barracks.
The Council affirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its area of 144 dunams, is the exclusive right of Muslims alone, calling for urgent international action to stop the occupation’s violations against it.
