The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns against the continuation of Israeli settlement operations

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned against the continuation and deepening of systematic Israeli settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories, which will lead to the elimination of any chance of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, stressing that the failure to hold the occupation authorities accountable for the settlement crime encourages them to pursue more settlement schemes.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the failure to implement the relevant international legitimacy resolutions, especially Resolution 2334, encourages the occupation to persist in disregarding international law and UN resolutions and to implement more settlement plans and expand them at the expense of the land of the State of Palestine.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation forces have seized areas of Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta in the city of Hebron and the northern Palestinian valleys in the West Bank, and the occupation is going on with violations and crimes against Palestinians in addition to the settlers’ attacks on the Palestinian lands and properties despite all UN resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlements and demand their cessation.
