The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for ensuring the right of Palestinians to study and learn
On November 18th, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to guarantee the right of Palestinian students to study and to provide protection to educational institutions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on students in the town of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the West Bank, and obstructing their access to their schools for the third consecutive day.
The Ministry pointed out that these attacks, which aim to close schools, are part of the occupation’s plans to displace Palestinians and seize their lands for settlement purposes.
