The Palestinian Foreign Ministry:  Israeli occupation commits ethnic cleansing on a daily basis

On August 14th, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the failure of the international community to respond to Palestinian demands for immediate action to implement the relevant UN resolutions gives the Israeli occupation more time to continue war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians and undermine the chances of establishing a Palestinian state.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the lack of response also reflects the duplication of clear international standards and a failure to respect international obligations towards UN resolutions and the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Israeli  occupation commits crimes of ethnic cleansing on a daily and continuous basis against the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank through repression, abuse and demolish Palestinians’ homes, facilities and educational institutions.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that it has become clear to everyone that the occupation expanding settlements, perpetuates the apartheid regime, and turns Palestinian villages into stifled areas isolated from each other, which leads to closing the door permanently to any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
