The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns the crime of stabbing to death a Palestinian child by racist American in Illinois state
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affair condemned in the strongest terms the heinous crime of racism and hate committed by a “hatful racist” 70-year-old man in the American state of Illinois by stabbing a 6-year-old Palestinian child to death and injuring his mother by a number of stabs.
In a statement today, reported by Palestinian media, the Foreign Ministry denounced the campaigns of incitement, attacks, racist and provocative positions and statements against the Palestinians and a number of ambassadors of the State of Palestine and its embassies in some countries.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affair: “We view the extreme danger of the results and repercussions of the campaigns of incitement and racism and their goals aimed at distorting the image of the Palestinians and their just case, and we call on all countries to confront them, punish their promoters and those who stand behind them.
According to Agency France Presse, the seventy-year-old man was charged with murder and committing a hate crime yesterday after he stabbed a child to death and a woman who was renting a house he owned. The crime was committed in the light of the current conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In the details, according to WAFA News Agency, when the police officers arrived at the location, they located two victims inside the residence in a bedroom. “Both victims had multiple stab wounds to their chest, torso, and upper extremities. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The thirty-two (32) year-old female was transported in serious condition and had over a dozen stab wounds to her body. The female victim is recovering from her injuries at a local area hospital and is expected to survive this brutal attack,” said the statement.
As for the boy, the statement said, “The six-year-old male was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The boy later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by a doctor.
The suspect, Joseph M. Czuba, 71, was formally charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Hate Crime (2 counts), and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Detectives were able to determine that both victims in this brutal attack were targeted by the suspect due to them being Muslim and the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict.
