The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the Security Council to stop the occupation’s aggression against Gaza

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to take the necessary measures to immediately stop the ongoing Israeli occupation’ aggression against Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The Ministry stated today that the occupation continues to implement its expansionist settlement plan and seize more lands in the West Bank, in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Strip.

It warned that this plan aims to eliminate the chances of establishing a Palestinian state, and this will have serious repercussions on the security and stability of the region and the world.

It condemned the destructive war, the crimes of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement committed by the Israeli war machine for the 17th day against the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry pointed out that the brutal bombardment that the strip was subjected to during the past 24 hours led to the death of 400 Palestinians and the injury of dozens, in addition to further destruction of homes and infrastructure.

It stressed that prolonging the occupation for the duration of war on the Strip aims at displacing more than two million Palestinians living in the Strip and destroying their homes, turning the Gaza Strip into an uninhabitable environment.

The Ministry indicated that, since the start of the aggression on Gaza, the occupation forces and its settlers have been abusing the Palestinians in the West Bank, where 95 Palestinians have died and more than 1200 were detained, in addition to imposing a stifling siege on the cities and towns of the West Bank that paralyzes life there.

All this is with the aim of deepening the process of gradual annexation of the occupied Palestinian territory in an attempt to decide the future of the Strip through a devastating and comprehensive war, and also to decide the future of the West Bank by annexing the largest area of it.
