The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the Security Council to adopt a resolution ceasing Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution obliging the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression on the Gaza Strip, ensure the return of the displaced to their homes, and ensure the basic needs of the people of the Strip.

“Children in the Gaza Strip are being killed by warplanes and internationally prohibited weapons, and in the West Bank they are being killed by occupation soldiers during their storming of Palestinian cities, villages, towns and camps, or by armed colonialist militias, in a clear disregard for the lives of Palestinians,” WAFA News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed that the continued international failure to provide protection to the Palestinian people and the continued impunity of the Israeli occupation encourage them to commit more crimes.
