The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on the international community to intervene urgently to halt the Israeli occupation’s settlement plans

On June 11th, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to intervene urgently to halt the Israeli colonial occupation plans that perpetuate settlements and the apartheid regime through the seizure of Palestinian lands in the West Bank.

The Ministry affirmed that the silence of the international community in the face of the increasing settlement plans of the occupation encourages it to persist in demolishing Palestinian homes, seizing their lands in occupied Jerusalem and other cities in the West Bank, and escalating forced displacement operations to bring about demographic change in favor of settlers.

The Ministry stressed that the occupation’s continuous attacks on the Palestinians, their land, property, and sanctities reach to war crimes and crimes against humanity, with the aim of implementing colonial annexation plans that constitute a flagrant violation of United Nations resolutions.
