The Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for providing international protection to the Palestinian people

On July 27, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli settlers’continuous attacks on the Palestinians and their mosques and holy places under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

“The Israeli settlers stormed the city of Al-Bireh, in the West Bank, and burned a mosque in it under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, is a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions,” WAFA News Agency quoted the Ministry as saying in a statement.

The Ministry called on the international community to take urgent action to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and their sanctities.

 

The Ministry said that these attacks, that target the Palestinian people’s presence and their legitimate rights, express the barbarism of the Israeli occupation and its settlers.
