The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Bab al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem is facing the threat of Judaization as a result of the open war waged by the Israeli occupation against it for the third consecutive day and the Israeli escalation of repression, intimidation and abuse against Jerusalemites.

The Ministry indicated in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the occupation’s aggression is focused this time on Bab al-Amoud area with the aim of canceling the Palestinian presence there by changing its Palestinian landmarks and Judaizing them within its plans to completely Judaize the Holy City.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that the provocative incursion carried out by the Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in the Old City and the repeated arrest of the Governor of Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith and the renewal of the closure of 28 Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem as well as the installation of mobile centers for the occupation authorities near Bab al-Amoud in addition to the calls of settlers like Ben Gvir to fire on Jerusalemites and others, all confirm the occupation’s continued plans of Judaization against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially Bab al-Amoud area.

The Ministry called on the international community to quickly intervene and put pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to stop the plans of Judaization and colonial annexation and the open war the Israeli occupation is waging against the Palestinian presence in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
