The Palestinian captive in occupation jail Abu Atwan continues with his hunger strike amid deteriorating health condition

The Palestinian prisoner in the Israeli jail Al-Ghadanfar Abu Atwan continued on Saturday his open-ended hunger strike for the 60th consecutive day in protest against the occupation’s continuous criminal practices towards the Palestinian prisoners, according to the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-prisoners Authority.

The authority’s Media Advisor Hassan Abd Rabbo told WAFA news agency that Abu Atwan is suffering from a sharp reduction of fluids in his body, which greatly affects the function of his organs and may lead him to complete disability or sudden death.

Abd Rabbo said that Abu Atwan has lost more than 15 kg of his weight. He is faint and he suffers from permanent headache and can’t speak or move.

The Israeli occupation keeps refusing to release Abu Atwan which necessitates urgent interference by the international community as to pressure the occupation to release him and solve his life, Abd Rabbo pointed out.
