The Palestinian Prisoners Club revealed that the International Committee of the Red Cross today informed the families of the prisoners that the Israeli occupation is preventing visits.
“Wafa news agency” quoted the club in a statement today that the Red Cross informed the families of the prisoners that the occupation prevented visits until the end of September.
The Israeli occupation escalated its repressive practices against the Palestinian prisoners after six of them managed last Monday to wrest their freedom through a tunnel they dug with their own hands in Gilboa prison near the city of Bisan in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948, which is one of the most fortified and guarded prisons.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured last night as a result of the occupation forces’ assault on the participants in the marches in support of the prisoners in separate areas in the West Bank.
