The occupation forces arrest 8 Palestinians in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in separate areas of the West Bank.

“Wafa news agency” reported that the occupation forces stormed neighborhoods in the city of Nablus and Balata refugee camp in the east, and the towns of Kober, Ni’lin and KafrEin in Ramallah and arrested eight Palestinians.

The occupation forces continue their aggressive practices against the Palestinians by harassing and assaulting them in their cities and villages and launching daily arrest campaigns with the aim of displacing them and seizing and Judaizing their lands.

In this context, Israeli settlers stormed the town of Burin, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, and cut down dozens of olive trees.

The official in charge of the settlement resistance file, GhassanDaghlas, told WAFA that settlers broke into Palestinian agricultural lands southeast of the town and cut down dozens of olive trees.

Douglas explained that the cutting trees coincides with the start of the olive harvest season, where settlers’ attacks on Palestinian farmers are repeated with the aim of reducing the produce of  the season, which is an important pillar in the Palestinian economy.
