The Israeli occupation forces arrest 18 Palestinians in the West Bank

On August 25th, the Israeli occupation forces arrested eighteen Palestinians in separate areas of the West Bank.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus, al-Fawwar refugee camp in Hebron, and the towns of Bir al-Basha and Burqin in Jenin and Silwad in Ramallah, and arrested eighteen Palestinians.

A Palestinian was wounded earlier today by Israeli bullets in Aida camp, north of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

On other hand, four Palestinian prisoners  continue with their hunger strike in protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation towards the prisoners.

Palestinian media reported that Khalil Awawda continues his strike for the 166th day, despite the severe danger to his life due to the deterioration of his health.

The two brothers, Ahmed and Adal Musa, continue their strike for the 20th day, while Imad Abu Al-Haijaa continues his strike for the fifth day.

Palestinian cities witness daily rallies and vigils in support of the prisoners and demand from the international community to pressure the occupation and release them, especially the sick and hunger strikers.

Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli settlers renewed their attack on  Al-Aqsa Mosque today.

Palestinian media reported that 122 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa from the Mughrabi Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, guarded by the Israeli occupation forces, which imposed severe restrictions on Palestinians’ entry to it.
