The Israeli occupation forces arrest 13 Palestinians in the West Bank

On September 22nd, the Israeli occupation forces arrested thirteen Palestinians in separate areas of the West Bank.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the towns of Taffouh, Beit Ummar and Beit Awa in Hebron, the Wad Shaheen area in Bethlehem, Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho, and the Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem, and arrested nine Palestinians, as well as four others at its checkpoints in Nablus, Salfit and Ramallah.

Yesterday, the occupation forces arrested eighteen Palestinians in the West Bank.

On other hand, the Israeli occupation forces closed the roads leading to Al-Khan Al-Ahmar village, east of occupied Jerusalem.

The spokesman for the people of Khan al-Ahmar, Eid Khamis, told WAFA that the occupation forces closed all roads leading to the village to prevent the arrival of Palestinians and foreign solidarity activists, pointing to the villagers’ fear that the closure would be a prelude to demolishing their homes and displacing them.

The village of Khan al-Ahmar is located about 16 km east of occupied Jerusalem, and the occupation has threatened to demolish it since 2009 to expand two settlements built on Palestinian lands in the area.
