Israel commits 81 violations against the Al-Aqsa and Brahimi Mosques last month

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments has confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities continued their attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque and committed 81 violations against them during the month of September.

“ The Israeli occupation forces and settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque more than 24 times. They are escalating the implementation of their plans to Judaize Al-Aqsa and occupied Jerusalem, where they prevent Palestinian worshipers from accessing the mosque and continue to arrest them. They deployed their forces heavily at the entrances to Jerusalem and in the Old City,” WAFA News Agency quoted the monthly Waqf report on occupation violations against the Al-Aqsa and Ibrahimimosques which was issued on October 5.

The report pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Bab Al-Rahma prayer hall inside Al-Aqsa and tampered with its contents and delivered a warning to demolish the Al-Qa`qa mosque in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa.

The report said that the occupation authorities closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in the face of Palestinian worshipers and provided protection for settlers when they storm it and prevented the call to prayer  57 times in it, and prevented the Director General of Hebron Endowments and a number of employees from entering it.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, Husam Abu al-Rub said that the daily Israeli incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque is a flagrant aggression against the religious freedoms of Palestinian Muslims and places of worship.

He called for urgent action by the international community to halt the Israeli incursions and attacks.

He said that the Israeli attacks will not deter the Palestinians from continuing to defend their land and holy sites and thwart all Israeli Judication plans.
