The number of victims of the Ukrainian bombing of a bakery in the city of Lysychansk has risen to 28 people

Moscow, (ST) – The death toll from the Ukrainian bombing of a bakery in the city of Lysychansk, Lugansk People’s Republic, has risen to 28 people.

TASS quoted the Russian Emergencies Ministry as saying: Rescue workers have so far recovered 28 bodies from under the rubble of the bakery that was bombed yesterday afternoon, while they were able to rescue ten people. It added that search and rescue work continues despite the threat of new Ukrainian bombing.

Yesterday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova indicated that 11 civilians were killed, and that dozens are still under the rubble. It stressed that the Kiev regime’s targeting of the bakery despite its knowledge of the presence of a large number of civilians on the holiday is a terrorist act that indicates the criminal nature of this regime.
