The Non-Aligned Movement calls for an investigation into the Israeli occupation’s use of banned weapons

Tehran, (ST) – The Non-Aligned Movement called for an investigation into the Israeli entity’s use of banned weapons, including phosphorous bombs, in Gaza and South Lebanon.

According to IRNA the movement said in a statement on the occasion of the twenty-eighth annual meeting of member states of the Chemical Weapons Convention, held in Hague: We express our deep concern about the use of prohibited weapons by the Israeli entity in the attack on Gaza and the West Bank.

The movement referred in its statement to the crimes committed by this entity in its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The statement stressed the need to strengthen international cooperation in the field of peaceful use of chemicals and support victims of chemical weapons. It emphasized the responsibility of governments and the technical secretariat of the organization in providing them with the necessary medicines and equipment.
