The New Birth

On Monday morning they left the village heading to al-Sha’er gas field. Twenty-four ambitious  intrepid young men joined  to the garrison that guard the field, which is an important source for the country’s economy since it provides fuel for power stations . So each one of them knows the importance of the place in which they are.

On Wednesday night they were attacked by the barbaric armed gangs who wanted to control the field. Hence a hectic and severe battle was waged as the garrison personnel in cooperation with the NDF defended fiercely the terrorist Takfiri blind hatred attack aiming to destroy everything contributes to the renaissance and prosperity of the country.

The battle lasted until the morning, the Syrian heroes showed incredible valor  in defense taking no consideration to  the huge numbers of the terrorists and the great support they have received. As a result of the running out of the ammunition and the martyrdom  of a lot number of the field garrison, the sinister gangs have been able to advance and control the field. The reinforcements arrived to the field and our army heroes managed to upset the balance of power and exterminated the terrorists and restored the field after a few days .

There were persistent news about the martyrdom of a lot of the field garrison, so all people in the village were waiting for news about their sons there, as they were informed that all the village’s sons were martyred. The disaster was great and the sadness was irresistible.

The convoys of martyrs began to arrive successively .The villagers are celebrating the martyrdom wedding, which psalms did not stop since the beginning of the crisis.

Om Alaa and her husband stood awaiting the arrival of their son, the martyred hero, to participate in the celebrations of the village because everyone is proud that he has a martyr but the joy of martyrdom did not knock on their door.

In a cloudy rural morning, the son arrived to his family. He arrived with his friend Ali, who he has left the village with, to tell the story of heroes there in the battlefield and to cite the valor of his village’s sons in defending the homeland. He and his friend were trapped under a Caravan when their ammunition run out.

I met him there in his village and asked him about what had happened there. He told me about the pain and grief he feels because he did not attain martyrdom honor such as his comrades and the people of his village. He insisted that he will be back there again and will not be deterred by the horrors he has experienced there, stressing that the sacrifices and dear blood provided by his beloved comrades will not be in vain, rather increase determination to fight  Al-Qaeda Wahhabi-Takfiri gangs.

He started his story by saying: “At that ominous  night, the mercenary  terrorists groups had targeted the field with different types of weapons . I’ve been with a group of my buddies in the defense front lines. We clashed with them and we succeeded to eliminate a great number of them. But the enormous amount of reinforcement they have received in addition to the death  of a large number of garrison field personnel enabled them to seize the field”.

“My leg  was seriously hit  and my friend Ali was badly wounded in the head and foot. So we had to retreat and hide under the damaged caravan, which is supposed to be our residence place. There, under 50 centemeter high ceiling  we stayed helpless for three days. The pain was unbearable. We were  watching what was going on sadly  because we were unable to do the least we can do to help our colleagues.

What I managed only to do was to sneak into the caravan during the day in the absence of the terrorists to bring some bread and water and some disinfectants, cotton and tissues to treat my friend’s severe injuries. He has asked me insistently to run away and leave him, but I promised him I would never leave him alone as I was sure that our army heroes will rescue us and eliminate these criminals. So the only option left for us is but to stay and wait. “

He stopped for a while showing a grateful shining smile, “a few days later our military heroes  managed to defeat of the invaders and restore control on the field and declared it as a safe area.  We were watching the battle of pride and dignity that our heroic forces fought alongside the champions of the civil defense forces who have shown unparalleled courage against the enemies of God , nation and humanity. We were given the helping hand and they took us to the nearest hospital where we were given the necessary medical treatment and then secured us a safe return to our homes.”

Ali stressed that thanks to God, the army and the care of his friend Alaa, he  has been able to breathe new life showing bitter sadness because he was not able to fight until the end of the battle, stressing unwavering determination to return to the battlefield and fight those infidels until the extermination of the last terrorist on the holy land of Syria .

Ali went on to say:” Through  unmatched qualitative military operations our army forces have been giving numerous lessons in bravery, dignity, honor and humanity. They hand in hand with the NDF proved that Syria  is able to win over its enemies whatever the sacrifices might be and Syrians live honorably and die as martyrs honorably that their dignity is more important than life itself.”
