The Netanyahu government does not want stability in Syria and Lebanon, says Erdoğan

ISTANBUL, Apr.19, (ST)-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reiterated his country’s condemnation of the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian and Lebanese territories, saying that “Israel” is trying to prevent stability in Syria and Lebanon.

Anadolu Agency quoted Erdoğan as saying last night during a meeting of the Parliamentary Group Supporting Palestine in Istanbul: “The Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon clearly demonstrate that the Netanyahu government does not want peace and stability in the Middle East.”

Erdoğan pointed out that the Israeli occupation government is trying to prevent stability in Syria and Lebanon by inciting strife, besides its efforts to spread conflicts to new areas by constantly inciting external forces.

The Turkish president underscored that defending the Palestinian cause is a defense of humanity, peace, and justice, while condemning the international silence regarding the Israeli genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip.
