The National Union of Syrian Students Egypt Branch holds its annual conference and elects its leadership

Cairo (ST): The branch of the National Union of Syrian Students in Egypt held its annual conference at the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo and elected new leadership for it. It discussed the general conditions of students studying in Egypt and the problems and difficulties facing their academic careers in Egyptian universities and ways to solve them.

The students participating in the conference affirmed their determination to continue their educational attainment and return to their homeland to participate in building Syria and rebuilding what was destroyed by terrorism, pointing out the need to reconsider some agreements related to cultural exchange.

In turn, Ambassador Dr. Bassam Darwish, head of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Egypt, reiterated Syria’s balanced and supportive position for joint Arab action, saying that “Syria will not delay any Arab effort that is in the interest of the nation.”

Darwish referred to the continuous coordination with the Syrian community to provide all services to the students and to overcome the obstacles they face.
