The national Earthquake center :9 weak tremors were recorded in the last 24 hours

The National Earthquake Center announced the registration of 9 weak tremors during the past 24 hours, ranging between 1.4 and 3 degrees on the Richter scale.

The center said in a statement,that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded until 4:53 a.m. this morning 4 tremors, two of which were north of Hama reaching 5 and 6 km with a magnitude of 1.6 and 1.7 degrees, and an earthquake northwest of Latakia reaching 23 km with a magnitude of 1.6 degrees, and the fourth is 31 km west of Homs, with a magnitude of 1.4 degrees.

The statement pointed out that during the aforementioned period, two tremors of 2.2 and 2.3 degrees were also monitored in Iskenderun (Alexandretta) area , and three tremors in Turkey of 2.9, 3 and 2.2 degrees, noting that all the tremors had different depths and reached 23.1 km.
