The National earthquake Center: 8 tremors recorded during the past 24 hours

The National Earthquake Center announced that 8 tremors were recorded with a n intensity ranging between magnitude 1.7 and 4.7 on the Richter scale during the past 24 hours.

The Center stated that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded this morning at 7:58 local time, a weak tremor of 2.8 degrees, which struck 100 km northeast of Raqqa, at a depth of 6.2 km.

The center added: 7 other weak and moderate tremors were recorded during the past 24 hours, one tremor 47 km north of Hama at magnitude 2.2, two tremors in the sea, one of them north of Latakia 63 km at magnitude 2.6, and another on 47 km northwest of Latakia a magnitude 1.7, in addition to 4 tremors in Turkey ranging between magnitude 2.7 and magnitude 4.1.

The center added that all the tremors had different depths, reaching 39.7 km.
