The National Earthquake Center: 7 light tremors recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that monitoring stations recorded 7 minor earthquakes during the past 24 hours, all of them measuring less than 2.9 on the Richter scale.

The Center said in a statement that the tremors were recorded from yesterday until 8:00 am today: an earthquake 48 kilometers northwest of Lattakia with a magnitude of 1.9 degrees, another southwest of Lattakia with a magnitude of 2.6 degrees, and three tremors in Iskenderun(Alexandretta ) District, the first northwest of Idlib with 47 kilometers by 2.6 degrees, the second northwest of Idlib by 42 kilometers by 2.6 degrees, and the third northwest of Idlib by 63 kilometers by 2.5 degrees.

An earthquake of 2.8 degrees was recorded in the Mediterranean, southwest of Turkey, and a 2.8-degree earthquake in central Turkey.
