The National Earthquake Center: 5 weak tremors monitored during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that the monitoring stations recorded 5 weak tremors, ranging in intensity between magnitude 1.3 and 2.3 on the Richter scale, during the past 24 hours.

The Center stated in its announcement that the tremors recorded during Sunday until seven o’clock this morning were distributed as follows: two tremors northwest of Hama at magnitude of 1.3 and 1.8 on the Richter scale, two tremors northwest of Latakia at magnitude 1.7 and 2.3, and an earthquake northwest of Tartous at magnitude 2.
