The National Earthquake Center: 5 weak earthquakes recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that monitoring stations recorded 5 weak tremors of less than 3.4 degrees during the past 24 hours.

The center indicated in its announcement that the tremors that were recorded yesterday evening until eight o’clock in the morning were distributed between two tremors in the Alexandretta district, the first 51 km west-northwest of Idlib with a magnitude of 2.9 degrees, and the second in the same direction from Idlib with a distance of 48 km with a magnitude of 2.5 degrees.

The earthquake was recorded east-northeast of Beirut with 74 kilometers of 1.7 degrees, the earthquake west of Quneitra with 46 kilometers of 2 degrees, and the earthquake in central Turkey of 3.3 degrees.
