The National Earthquake Center: 16 weak tremors recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that monitoring stations recorded 16 weak earthquakes of less than 3.5 degrees on the Richter scale during the past 24 hours.

The center said in a statement today that the tremors recorded since last night until 5 am today, were 3 tremors around the city of Hama with a magnitude ranging between 1.8 and 2.8 degrees, indicating that they are local tremors on secondary clefts.

It also recorded 8 tremors in Iskenderun(Alexandretta ), the largest of which was 2.7 degrees, and 4 tremors on the Turkish mainland, the largest of which was 3.4 degrees, and a tremor in the Mediterranean Sea.
