The National Earthquake Center: 13 weak tremors monitored during the past 24 hours
Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that monitoring stations recorded 13 weak earthquakes, the highest of which were 3.5 on the Richter scale, during the past 24 hours.
The Center stated in its announcement today, that the tremors that were recorded from last night until 6:18 am this morning are: an earthquake west of Damascus measuring 3 kilometers with a magnitude of 1.9, and an earthquake in the Mediterranean Sea northwest of Tartous with a distance of 43 kilometers and a magnitude of 1.5. degree.
6 tremors were recorded in Iskenderun(Alexandretta ), ranging between 1.4 and 3.2 degrees, 4 in Turkey with a magnitude ranging between 3.2 and 3.5 degrees, and an earthquake of 2 degrees on the island of Cyprus.
