Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that it had recorded 6 earthquakes, ranging between magnitude 2.4 and 3.4, during the past 24 hours.
The Center stated in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded, from yesterday evening until 2:00 am today, 6 earthquakes, including two in Turkey, the first with a magnitude 3.0 and the second with magnitude 2.4 on the Richter scale, and two tremors in Iskenderun, the highest of which was magnitude 3.4.
The Center indicated that two earthquakes were recorded in the sea northwest of Lattakia, the first at a distance of 50 km with magnitude 2.9, while the second was magnitude 3.0 on the Richter scale.
