On April 30th, the National Earthquake Center announced that 12 earthquakes were recorded during the past 24 hours, with a magnitude of less than 3.6 on the Richter scale.
The center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded an earthquake measuring 8 kilometers northeast of Hama at 1:07 a.m., with a magnitude of 1.9 on the Richter scale, and an earthquake in Lebanon, east of Beirut, with a magnitude of 26 km, with a magnitude of 1.9.
The center added: 4 tremors were monitored in Iskenderun(Alexandretta), ranging between 2.2 and 2.8 degrees, 5 tremors in the Turkish mainland between 3 and 3.5 degrees, and a tremor in the Mediterranean Sea, 104 kilometers west of Latakia, measuring 2.6 degrees on the Richter scale.
