Damascus, (ST) – The Ministry of Transport announced that it will operate two consecutive flights to Sharjah via Syrian Air, due to the increasing demand by citizens.
The Ministry indicated in a statement today that two consecutive trips to Sharjah will be conducted on Sunday and Monday “15 and 16” of the current month with the implementation of the full precautionary measures used in our airports and the examination of all passengers arriving and departing.
The Ministry stressed the need to sterilize all means of transportation entering Syria from aircraft, ships, trucks and vehicles of all kinds and through all ports and crossings within the precautionary measures to address the danger of the spread of the Corona virus in cooperation with the staff of the Ministry of Health and the Interior.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Transport last week informed travelers to the Qatari capital, Doha, via Damascus International Airport to stop flights to and from Doha until further notice, as well as travelers to Kuwait, to suspend flights temporarily for a week within the procedures related to dealing with the Corona virus.
Many countries took preventive measure to prevent the spread of corona virus through officially announcing a travel ban on any country that recorded a large number of cases of HIV infection.
