The Ministry of Transport allocates a flight to evacuate the second batch of Syrian students in India

The Ministry of Transport announced today the allocation of a second flight to Syria to evacuate the second batch of Syrian students in India, as part of government efforts to return the Syrians stuck abroad due to the spread of the Corona epidemic.

The Ministry sheduled July 2 for the flight, as the plane will depart from Damascus International Airport at eight in the morning local time, heading to New Delhi airport in India and then it will arrive at Damascus airport at seven in the evening local time. The students will benefit from the Ministry’s decision to deduct 35 % of the ticket price for all students arriving on the flight.

The Ministry noted that  the coming students will sign a pledge to adhere to the required health conditions, especially adherence to the quarantine in Al-Harjala Center in Damascus countryside. The pledge will be signed at the Syrian Embassy in India before departure.

On June 21, a Syrian airplane carrying 250 Syrian students coming from New Delhi airport in India arrived at Damascus International Airport, as part of government efforts to return the Syrians stuck abroad due to the spread of the Corona epidemic.
