The Ministry of industry signs MoU with the Arab Federation of Productive Families and Traditional Industries

On April 12th, the Minister of Industry, Dr. Abdul Qadir Joukhadar, signed a memorandum of understanding with the President of the Arab Federation of Productive Families and Craft and Traditional Industries, Muhammad Abdel Basset Kadah to support the development process according to scientific foundations and standards.

The memorandum aims to contribute to economic and social development according to the scope of work of each party, which reflects positively on the reality of productive families and craft and traditional industries, and enhances their contribution to economic growth.

The memorandum aims to improve  the level of livelihood, reduce the unemployment rate, as well as revitalize the labor market and enhance the capabilities of small producers in marketing, selling and exporting.

The memorandum also aims to achieve integration between projects and various economic activities, to improve the quality of household production and enhance their competitiveness in the local and foreign markets, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, taking into account the charters and regulations in force within the framework of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, within which the Federation operates as a non-profitable Arab organization.
